00:00-01:25 – “Hey, Jim’s at group fitness studios remain close this after governor Cooper, extended phase two for another two weeks.
At least two Raleigh yoga instructors are now thinking outside of the box so that they can try and stay in business during the pandemic.
They’re now taking classes on the road. Look at this sweet ride. Jolene and Kate created and classes are now being offered at parks around Raleigh.
Both instructors say they are doing this because they needed to better connect with their students outside of zoom classes.
For us, it feels like a safe bet of the new normal. Um, even when things do start to reopen based on feedback we’ve had from our students now.
And even before this is it’s going to be hard for people to start feeling comfortable again, in those closed confined spaces, especially exercise where you’re breathing so heavily.
So yoga collected Raleigh is keeping class sizes to a 24 and they are social distancing.
They hope that this encourages other business owners in the area to find new ways to adapt to the times.
Certainly not easy. And for people to keep moving, there are classes out there that you can get outside and enjoy.
And I tell you what, bill Ray, I have already tried an outside yoga class.
It’s so much fun. In fact, it was at the lawn I was telling you about, and it’s great being around people and it’s inspiring at a distance. And I’m gonna say, yeah,
We tried hot yoga, but I guess you could do that today just by stepping outside.”
